Who Is Tama?
Before I am an author, I am a soul.
I am a human born of Earth.
I am female.
I am a daughter, a sister, a mother, a friend, a partner, a grandmother, and a great-grandmother.
I love music, writing, water, cooking, creating, color, nature, and the quiet beauty found in ordinary moments.
I have spent much of my life listening—to children, to families, to silence, to laughter, to grief, and to the gentle wisdom that often arrives when we are willing to pause.
I write because writing helps me understand. I write to preserve the emotional truth of ordinary lives, believing that the quiet moments often become the ones we remember most.
I sing because some truths are carried more gently in melody than in words alone.
I believe remembrance is an act of love, forgiveness is a path toward freedom, and grace is often found where we least expect it.
I am deeply grateful for both the unfolding and the enfolding of life.
If my writing offers anything, I hope it offers a quiet place where you might remember your own life with greater compassion—and discover that even through loss, love continues to shape us.
Thank you for visiting.
I hope our paths cross again.
Warmly,
Tama Thérèse
